Tottenham Hotspur was a big dark horse in this season Champions League competitions.

But unexpectedly, Mauricio Pochettino’s squad was able to survive until reaching the final round.

Spurs are the only ‘Big Six’ Premier League club that was passive in the summer transfer market.

So, many are convinced that the team nicknamed The Lilywhites will have difficulties in domestic competition, instead of expecting them reaching the Champions League final.

However, Harry Kane and co successfully answer the public doubts.

Now they have reached the final and will face another English club, Liverpool, at Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday (2/6).

Ahead of the match which is predicted to run fiercely, it’s good for football fans to look back on Tottenham’s journey to reach the final.

Group Phase

Spurs entered the group of hell, namely Group B, along with other strong teams such as Inter Milan (Italy), PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands), and Barcelona (Spain).

The later was often referred to as the strongest candidate for the winner this season.
